“Maniac Noise” is a 4 track EP by MUTO.
In the midst of pandemic, these pieces were composed with his enduring passion towards obscure dance music.
The EP starts with “Dokoku”, a psychedelic tribal dance tune with voice samples sprinkled all over, followed by a hypnotic dark disco track “Fog”. The 3rd one “Meidum” provides cosmic and acid feelings with a transition to spacey ambience in midflow, while the last track “Slither” exudes an opiate post-punk mood.
As the title represents, ‘noise’ is a key element of this EP which is pulling the whole vibe together in a maniac way.

Muto is a Singapore based selector/music producer, hailing from Kobe, Japan. A regular DJ at one of the iconic underground night clubs in Singapore, Headquarters and a resident DJ at a local music collective named Ice Cream Sundays.
